Our Process

Have you toured Jenny Lea Academy and made the decision to fulfill your career dreams? We would love to welcome you as a student at Jenny Lea Academy, but there are a few application requirements that we must complete first. Let’s get started!

We have tried to keep our application process straightforward! Please contact us if you have any questions about any of the below steps.

Step 1
Tour our academy

If you have not toured our academy, we welcome you to book a tour! We suggest you visit and learn more about our programs prior to submitting your application.

Call our admissions team at 423-926-9095 x 2 or submit a tour request form. We have programs starting every five weeks so now is the perfect time to get started on your future career!

Please understand there is a $100.00 application fee that is non-refundable. We are currently in process of making some changes related to our online payment processing system. For a brief period of time, we must request you mail or drop off your application fee. We apologize for any inconvenience and should complete our new online payment system very soon. We do ask this fee be provided as soon as possible. Your application will begin review only when the non-refundable $100.00 application fee is received. Thank you for your understanding!

Fill out and submit our school’s online application form.

Step 3
Admissions Advisor Interview

Once we receive your application, we will connect with you via phone call or email you to set up an interview with an admissions adviser. An in-person interview is required for admission. This is also a great time to answer any remaining questions you have that you did not ask during our academy tour. Please keep an eye out for that call or email from us!

At Jenny Lea Academy we want to see our students accomplish their educational and career goals. There are various options for funding your education! We work with veterans and offer different scholarship options in the form of grants or loans. You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to learn more about what you may qualify for.

Complete the FAFSA and any other financial aid applications that are available to you

Please make note in your records: If you are applying for assistance, you’ll need to reference our school code on your aid application. The school code for Jenny Lea Academy is 016051.

NOTE: Please call to reschedule any appointments that cannot be kept. Your application process could be delayed for a missed interview with an admissions adviser. A “No-Call-No-Show” appointment may be asked to restart the application process.

Placement Assistance

Jenny Lea Academy provides placement assistance, professional appearance guidelines, and follow-up to its students and graduates. The school does not guarantee students a job after completion of the course; however, area shops are continually contacting the school to make them aware of the openings and this information is posted on the student bulletin board. Job referrals are made available to qualified students.

Transfer Hours

Jenny Lea Academy always attempts to accept all transfer hours. You may talk with our administration staff to sign needed paperwork so we may request your transcripts.
